August 2021 Newsletter
Dear Members and Friends
Our world has changed again since my last newsletter, we find ourselves in extended lockdown again with the prospect of emerging on the 2nd September looking less likely as each day goes by. This will probably impact the 9-a-side competition so stay tuned for more details to follow on this.
On a happier note spring is nearly here and the weather is improving allowing us to get out for that 1 hour of very important exercise more regularly. I only wish it could be down on the greens with mates!
During this lockdown the committee and volunteers have forged ahead on a number of projects including, roof, hall and greens renovations, more details on these project and other initiatives are in the newsletter along with some photos. In line with the government regulations we have checked that contractors entering the site have the required worker permits along with our own committee members who are working in a volunteer capacity.
